Shakyet Hossan, a Bangladeshi employee at Xiamen C&D, said in an interview with China Youth Daily that China's high-standard opening-up benefits global cooperation and the Belt and Road Initiative has left a lasting impression on him.

"I believe the Belt and Road Initiative is a globally influential platform for cooperation that fosters not only international trade, but also infrastructure development, connectivity, and shared growth." Shakyet Hossan said, taking Bangladesh as an example, a number of key projects under the Belt and Road Initiative - such as the China-Bangladesh Friendship Bridge, the Padma Bridge Rail Link have injected new momentum into Bangladesh's economic growth. These projects have improved transportation networks, enhanced logistics efficiency, and accelerated Bangladesh's industrialization and regional integration.

He added that the Belt and Road Initiative has enabled him to engage in broader international cooperation. Working as a Bangladeshi business professional in China, he has seen first-hand how Chinese enterprises engage with the global market, embracing openness and inclusivity to achieve mutual success.
