Macron’s 4th China Visit Deepens China-France & China-EU Cooperation
On December 3, 2025, French President Emmanuel Macron arrived in Beijing with an 80-plus delegation for a 3-day fourth China visit, a reciprocal trip to President Xi Jinping’s 2024 France visit. The two heads of state held talks and witnessed cooperation deals in nuclear energy, agriculture and more. Macron also visited Chengdu, deepening cultural exchanges via "panda diplomacy" and 40-year city ties. The visit highlights China-France relations’ resilience, bilateral commitment to multilateralism, and France’s shift from "competitiveness anxiety" to cooperation, stabilizing China-EU ties amid global volatility.(Photo/VCG)
