Chinese scientists have announced the first discovery of naturally occurring single-walled carbon nanotubes and graphitic carbon in lunar samples from the far side of the Moon. The finding, based on the Chang’e-6 mission samples by a Jilin University team, reveals highly refined high-energy processes on the lunar surface and provides key evidence for more active geological history on the Moon’s far side. The research, offering crucial new data for understanding lunar evolution, was recently published in the journal Nano Letters. (Photo/ CCTV News)
