On the day of the Spring Equinox, the sun shines directly on the Earth's equator, causing day and night to be equal in both the northern and southern hemispheres. After the Spring Equinox, the point of direct sunlight gradually moves northward, causing days to become longer and nights shorter in the northern hemisphere, with temperatures rising daily. It is a good time for people to bask in the bright spring sunlight and fly kites. Besides, it is a common custom in many regions of China to eat spring vegetables, namely seasonal vegetables, during the Spring Equinox.
