From November 14 to 16 local time, the G20 Social Summit took place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Unlike the G20 Summit, the Social Summit features participants from various sectors of society. According to the Brazilian G20 hosts, the event aims to amplify grassroots voices, bridge the gap between citizens and leaders, and promote the active participation of social forces in shaping global economic and governance decisions.
