At the 2025 Acceleration Week for Global Youth Development, Cai Yirui from Zhejiang University introduced her project Genesis Membrane – Harvesting Water from Air for Sustainable Development. The project has developed a novel membrane material capable of extracting drinkable water directly from the atmosphere without any energy consumption.
