Chinese President Xi Jinping encouraged student representatives participating in China International College Students' Innovation Competition 2024 to promote the spirit of science and actively engage in technological innovation.

Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, made the remarks in a reply letter to them.
