On October 9th, the 2025 Nobel Prize in Literature was awarded to Hungarian writer László Krasznahorkai, in recognition of the artistic power demonstrated in his works. He is famous for his long-sentence writing; his representative works such as Satans Tango have been introduced to China. Moreover, he has a deep love for Chinese culture—he admires Li Bai, reads Tao Te Ching, has written books related to China, and longs for the Chinese versions of his works to engage in dialogue with Chinese civilization.
