Chinese rookie Yang Hansen made his preseason debut for the Portland Trail Blazers on October 9, posting 4 points, 4 rebounds and 1 assist in 21 minutes. Despite limited touches in a fast-paced game, the 20-year-old center showed composure, strong screens, and solid defensive effort. Yang is still adapting to the NBA’s tempo and officiating but displayed maturity and team-oriented play. The Blazers face the Sacramento Kings next on October 11.
